Last month, as part of the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, Science NetLinks launched a new blog series called Spotlight on Science Writers. To launch the series, we have begun with some of the authors whose books are being featured in the Subaru Loves Learning August Book Drive that was conducted by Subaru retailers in the Northeast region of the United States. Over 16,000 books that were winners or finalists in for the SB&F Prize will be donated to schools this month as part of this very successful program.
We wanted to highlight some of the authors that were selected for this program in the blog series by having them share their thoughts with readers about why they wrote the books and what they hope that readers would learn from them.
So far, there are four posts in the series. More will be added in the weeks to come. After we publish the initial posts from the Subaru Loves Learning campaign, we will continue to publish posts from authors of some of the best science books reviewed in our journal and recognized by the SB&F Prize. We hope you enjoy the series and you would like to recommend some authors for future posts, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
