    Cambridge University Library has made available online many of the notebooks and papers of Isaac Newton (1642-1727) to launch the new Cambridge Digital Library . Newton's own annotated copy of his Principia Mathematica is among the notebooks and manuscripts made available by the Library, which holds the world's largest and most significant collection of the scientific works of Isaac Newton. In the three-part Principia, Newton lays out in mathematical terms his laws of motion and account of universal gravitation.
