As the editor of a science book review journal, I receive lots and lots of boxes of books each week. Making a path to my desk after being away from the office is a regular occurrence. They pile up quickly! But opening these boxes and leafing through new science books is actually one of my favorite parts of being the editor of SB&F. So many jobs do not have these tangible objects to pick up, sort, stack, and feel.
